summer must haves

After having spent one year in the sun and palm tree filled California, I am much more excited

for summer than I usually am. Being able to wear summer clothes with bare legs almost every

single day was such a nice change from Icelandic summers. I felt a lot more free and ready to

experiment more while I was there and I had a lot more fun dressing there than I do here. So I

decided to share with you some basic pieces that I think everyone must have in their wardrobe

for the upcoming summer. I have a lot of items on the list but here are some of the basics:

- A black and white striped t-shirt.

- Distressed jean shorts (like Levi's)

- White sneakers (love my Converse)

- Classic sunnies that go with everything.

- Black strappy flat sandals (basics!)

- A fun printed dress with a mix of colors.

- A bikini! Love neon and printed this summer.

Since my mom is going abroad on a little shopping trip this weekend I added the navy printed

dress, neon bikini and the Zara sandals to my wishlist. I can imagine wearing the dress with my

white Converse sneakers and some fun sunnies. I just wish I could go bare legged here at home

but you never know if it will be that warm or not. I can't wait to see what she comes back with

and most of all, I can't wait to shoot some summer outfits for you guys.
