new in: black&white

DÓTTURFÉLAGIÐ dress 

One of my all time favorite things to do when I am in Reykjavík is going to an area usually just called

101 Reykjavík. It's kind of the city center and it has so many gorgeous old houses and buildings. There

is a street there called Laugavegur filled with amazing restaurants, coffee shops and stores. The other

day I bundled up in a beanie and a big parka since it was really cold and I spent the day walking around

with my boyfriend. We sat down at a restaurant and had soup, had a little hot chocolate while browsing

through stores and did a little shopping. I love just spending my days like this and I am really excited

about moving to this area after the summer since it really is a little gem in the city. 

While I was there I just had to stop at one of my favorite stores, Dótturfélagið. They have so many

amazing pieces and I found this gorgeous black and white midi dress. I have had a midi dress on my

wishlist for a couple of weeks and I think I might have found the perfect one. I tried it on and it was

perfect. Somehow I did not buy it that day and I instantly regretted it since it was not expensive at all

so the next day my dad picked it up for me and now it hangs on the front of my closet anxiously

waiting to be worn. 

P.S. Sorry I did not post yesterday! This post was supposed to be up yesterday morning but I fell
asleep before I could even schedule it. I am always so tired these days.
